Christopher Tritto is a communications specialist based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a focus on translating complex topics into clear prose, engaging diverse audiences through strategic communications, and writing narrative features and character profiles. He has worked as a public information officer, freelance writer, and staff reporter with the St. Louis Business Journal in Missouri and the Charleston Gazette in West Virginia. He has contributed to Outside magazine, Village Voice Media’s Riverfront Times, SportsBusiness Journal, Washington University Engineering Momentum and Willamette Lawyer. Tritto’s work has garnered two Best in Business Awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW), more than a dozen awards from the Missouri Press Association, and special recognition from both American City Business Journals and the National Association of Black Journalists.
Born and raised in San Jose, Calif., Tritto graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in history. His undergraduate work included a year at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, where he studied English and American history and culture. Following an internship with the PBS interview show Charlie Rose and a job with Sunset magazine, Tritto earned a master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
